“It” Girl Public Relations signs Plies as he promotes the release of his debut album, “The Real Testament”, a fifteen track release which features guest appearances from T-Pain, Tank & Akon. Hailed as one of the realist rappers you will ever know,” the Ft. Myers based rapper has already established a phenomenal underground and street presence on the strength of his infamous mix tapes and live shows. With his August release debuting at #2 on Billboard 200, Plies is unquestionably becoming a hip-hop phenomenon.
Before his big break, Plies was uninterested in becoming a recording artist. He found himself working along side his brother, Big Gates and his label Big Gates Records. Holding a position far from the recording booth, Plies gravitated towards the microphone and soon exhibited an undeniable talent for rapping. Plies asserts, ” It wasn’t a dream of mine. It kind of happened accidentally. But at the same time, I’m a believer that nothing happens by accident.” Plies currently stand at the top of the charts with the mid-tempo single “Shawty,” where Plies and his fellow Florida boy T-Pain serenade women like only they can.
Plies and his teams at Big Gates/Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic have signed “It” Girl PR to help continue the promotion of “The Real Testament” due to their strong presence in the music industry. “It” Girl PR will continue to create a positive buzz around Plies and his album and position him as the Hottest Rapper to Hit The Streets. When asked about the acquisition of this talented recording artist, “it” girl pr CEO Juliette Harris stated, “Plies has a true talent for Rap and music and will be long in the game”.

Turns out the CD release party for Plies’ new album, The Real Testament, was so popular, even the rapper couldn’t get in the door.
Club Skye in Ybor City was hosting the shindig from 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. Tuesday night, but so many people crammed into the space — including Pleasure from Pretty Ricky, T-Pain, Crime Mob, Rich Boy and lots of local artists — that fire marshals and Tampa police wouldn’t allow anyone else in, an eyewitness said. Unfortunately, that included Plies and his family, who tried to get in but were turned away.
His publicist said when Plies arrived in a white stretch limo around 1:30 a.m., police said his party of roughly 30 people could enter the club if 30 partygoers were sent out. But after those people were moved outside, authorities decided not to allow any more inside.
And once word got out that the main event wasn’t allowed into his own party, the peaceful crowd of about 3,500 people (according to a police estimate) hit the road.
The ironic thing is that the party was originally scheduled for Club Underground, but the bash was moved to Skye when Underground couldn’t correct fire-code violations stemming from its July 13 Aventura show in time, so say our spy’s police sources. Now that’s not keeping it too real.

Beautiful girls are a dime a dozen when it comes to Hollywood, but brains … not so much. But there are movie stars out there who actually did graduate from Harvard. And Yale. And Oxford. Personaly I prefer no.6 Sharone Stone, but is just my opinion.
