For the sixth week in a row, Lupe Fiasco holds the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s ‘Top Rap Albums Chart’.
The Cool shelves off 17,900 discs this week, pushing the album’s total sales to 286,200 copies.
Soulja Boy stays put at No. 2. Souljaboytellem.com shifts 15,800 CDs in its 17th week on the charts. Thus far, the album has sold a total of 727,000 copies.
Chicago rapper Kanye West raises a step up to No. 3. Graduation scans 12,300 discs this week, bringing the album’s total sales to 1,950,200 copies.
Jay-Z also moves up a seat to No. 4. American Gangster reels in 12,000 units in its 13th week on the chart. To date, the album has sold 953,200 copies.
Birdman trips two spots to No. 5. Five Star Stunna hauled in 11,800 units this week, bringing the album’s total sales to 233,300.
Bow Wow & Omarion stay put at No. 6. Face Off shells out 9,900 discs this week. The album’s tally stands at 285,500.
G-Unit honcho 50 Cent jumps one spot to No. 7. Curtis moves 6,300 units in its seventh week on the charts. Thus far, the album has sold a tot al of 1,258,600 copies.
Florida rapper Plies sneaks into the Top 10 by moving from No. 12 to No. 8. Real Testament shifts 6,200 units this week, bringing the album’s tally to 424,600.
At No. 9, DJ Drama continues to keep cash registers ringing. Gangsta Grillz rings out 6,100 discs this week. The album’s tally stands at 126,900.
Scarface drops three seats down to No.10. M.A.D.E. cashes out 6,000 copies. After 8 weeks, the album has sold a total of 151,800.

Plies, Scarface and Missy Elliot are among the list of hip-hop artists featured on the soundtrack to the sequel of the dance flick Step Up titled Step Up 2: The Streets. The soundtrack also features cuts from Trey Songz, B.O.B., T-Pain, Akon and Yung Joc.
Step Up 2 The Streets, the movie, centers on a rebellious street dancer named Andie (played by Briana Evigan) who lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts and forms a dancing crew with other outcasts from the school to take on other dance crews in Baltimore’s underground dance battle, ‘The Streets’.
Step Up 2 : The Streets, the soundtrack , will hit shelves on February 5th while the movie will open in theatres on February 14th.
