Kanye West was due to perform at 2:45am yesterday morning but did not emerge on stage until 4:25am. Even with the stage set-up apparently completed at 3.30am, West did not appear for almost another hour. The crowd repeatedly chanted “Kanye sucks!” during the delay, and today a section of portaloos onsite were spraypainted with the words “Fuck Kanye”.

Warner Music Group has confirmed that its music is no longer available through Last.fm’s on-demand music streaming service.

Last.fm users can still stream music from Warner’s artists via their artist-based radio stations (see below), because those songs are licensed under a different deal.

However, Last.fm users will no longer be able to stream songs on-demand from albums Neil Young, Nickelback, Death Cab for Cutie, or any other artist recorded for the label, as Silicon Alley Insider discovered.

We have learned that just weeks before Kanye’s mother Donda West died, her physician, Dr. Andre Aboolian refused to perform a tummy tuck and breast reduction on Ms. West because of her health condition that could have led to a heart attack. She was told to get a clearance from an internist whom Dr. Aboolian recommended. Despite warning, she then had that procedures performed with another doctor.

1. Bruce Lee’s Family Gave Him a Girl’s Name: “Little Phoenix”
Bruce’s family never called him “Bruce.” They preferred to call him by his nickname “Sai Fon” or “Little Phoenix.” It was a girl’s name, deliberately chosen by his parents because they believed that evil spirits did not like boys in the family (their firstborn was a son who died in infancy). So, by giving Bruce a girl’s name, they believed they could fool the demons into sparing his life!

Actually, “Bruce” was a name given by a nurse at the Jackson Street Hospital, San Francisco, where he was born (Bruce’s father was traveling with an acting troupe at the time). The nurse thought that giving the baby an English name would help avoid any confusion with his American birth certificate (yes, Bruce was an American by birth - he never had any other citizenship).

Bruce wasn’t pure Chinese - he was actually part German (his grandfather from his mother’s side was half German).

Well, actually he lost a fight only once in his life: when he was 13 years old. This loss actually prompted Bruce to learn martial arts from a Wing Chun master named Yip Man.
